The public high school where the quite prefectural Kamaya high school (おおいたけんりつかまえこうとうがっこう) was located in Kamaecho, Minamiamabe-gun, Oita (existing Saiki-shi). I closed a school (2002) on March 31 in 2002. I run Kamaya municipality Kamaya that the ruins unify 5 junior high schools in Kamaya-cho on April 1, the same year, and was founded and am used as a school (I run existing Saiki City Kamaya a school in the south) in the south.

Summary

It was located along the Bungo Channel of South Oita, and the quite prefectural Kamaya high school was the only high school located in Kamaecho that bordered Miyazaki.

It is closing a school (2002) in March for 2,002 years when I stop the recruitment of students from (2000) in 2000 because it became difficult to fill up, and all attendance at school life graduated from capacity by a decrease in number of students. The office work such as certificates was succeeded by Saiki Fengnan Senior High School.

• I found a school (1948) as - Oita Prefectural Saiki second high school Kamaya branch school on October 1 in 1948.
• I am renamed to - Oita Prefectural Fengnan high school Kamaya branch school (1951) on April 1 in 1951
• I become independent - (1965) on April 1 1965 and become the quite prefectural Kamaya high school (two classes of normal courses, domestic science one class)
• - domestic science offer stops (1974) on April 1 in 1974 (three classes of normal courses)
• I move to - existing school building (1978) on April 1 in 1978
• New April 1 - information office work department (1992) 1992 (one class of normal course, information office work department one class)
• A recruitment of students stop is decided (2000) (1999) for from August 30 to 2000 in 1999
• It is March 31 - closing a school (2002) for 2,002 years.
