The Ou Island (おうじま) is an uninhabited island belonging to Nago-shi, Okinawa. I am approximately 8km northwest from the Nago city area and am located between Okinawa Island and Yaga Jinoshima.

Summary
In an island of area 0.25km2[1], Okinawa prefectural road Route 110 (from Makiya intersection) goes along the central part and is bound together each in Yaga ground Ohashi with Ou Bridge (1953 bridging), Yaga Jinoshima with Okinawa Island, but some graveyards only exist along the way, and the person does not live. Originally crossing the sea was forbidden except that it came for a visit to a grave as an island for dead people, and there have been ever a lot of graveyards to Shimauchi.
The route bus of Ryukyu bus transit, the Okinawa bus which links Yaga Jinoshima to the Nago-shi center goes along Shimauchi, but the Ou Bridge bus stop that there is near Ou Bridge on the Okinawa Island side is the neighborhood bus stop of the island because the stop is not installed in Shimauchi.
