Nu Utrecht avenue /62 chome Station (New Utrecht Avenue / 62nd Street) is a compound New York City subway station, and BMT sea beach line nu Utrecht avenue Station and BMT waist end line 62 Station established in a canal established in the high on the shelf share a station building. It is in the nu Utrecht avenue -62 chome of Brooklyn ward Bensonhurst, and D system (waist end line) and N system (sea beach line) stop daylong.

History

The bus junction boiled the neighborhood (ground of the neighborhood of nu Utrecht avenue -62 chome intersection) of the place where a station was built now. Because Brooklyn bus Coney Island railroad (Brooklyn, Bath Cony Island Railroad, BB&CI) was connected to the New York & sea beach railroad (New York & Sea Beach Railway, NY&SB), I called NY&SB with a bus junction and called BB&CI with sea beach junction, but the names were unified soon, and it was in a bus junction.

The crossover of both lines was prepared for the bus junction, and a train of NY&SB was able to run in it to Brooklyn through a track of BB&CI. Furthermore, I joined BMT Kalver line at ninth Avenue Station and connected it to a BMT5 turn street line (English version) and the BMT mer torr avenue line in the future.

It would be rebuilt as a metro line of the Brooklyn Manhattan transit with both lines, and the name of the bus junction was not used afterwards. Because we were running out of the need even if a waist end line became able to ride the tie line alone (unrealistic) to Manhattan, in the waist end line, the overhead wire, the sea beach line were divided in two by the canal line. And a compound station of the multilayered structure was made to be able to do the transfer of both lines.

North line home

Nu Utrecht avenue Station (New Utrecht Avenue) is a station of the BMT sea beach line having relative expression home two 4 line. The home extends to the north side of the station across main stairs. Most of the stations are established in a canal, and the home both ends hang over the tunnel. Two stairs are at the north end of platform and they can appear in the manned wicket of the business daylong and can transfer from here to the BMT waist end line of the high on the shelf. An automatic ticket gate is established at the south end of platform in the 15th Avenue -63 chome (there was the manned wicket once, too). There is a strange brick on the wall of stairs at the north end of a platform, but this is a trace when I remade stairs at the time of home extension. Only as for one, an entrance at the time of the opening of business had the stairs for the home, but I established the wall of the brick at the time of home extension and remade stairs in a T-shape. This part of the home was registered with United States of America nation history registration fortune in 2005 [5].

There is a plan to repair 9 sea beach line stations, and, in our station, Manhattan area home is closed at one time from January 18, 2016. The business resumption is a plan of the spring of 2017 [6].

Opened the 62 station (62nd Street) as a terminal station of the initial opening of business section of the waist end line in the express stop of the BMT waist end line on June 24, 1916 [7]; [8].

Having island expression home two 3 line, the central express line is used only for a course change and nontrade service (the forwarding).
