This seed was distinguished from the Sion genus by a seed not having a pappus, and it ever came as the Miyama starwort genus. Gymnaster has been used as the generic name, and [9] that Miyamayomena has been used for saying that there was a preference in the taxa which is different this scientific name again includes it in the Sion genus as above now.
Butterfly sen Sion (butterfly sen starwort A. koraiensis) is brought in to the thing which I ever assumed Miyamayomena as well as this seed in the generation in the Taisho era and comes to be cultivated [10].
シュンジュギク var. pygmaea of the variety blooms in spring and has the name of the Kotobuki chrysanthemum in spring because the life is long. I am known to Mt. Mie Asama ヶ and the serpentine zone of Kochi [11].
Gymnaster savatieri
It is cultivated a lot as a gardening kind of the Miyama starwort from Japan, and anthesis is from May to June. When the Emperor Juntoku that the name of the Gymnaster savatieri was destroyed in a revolt of Shokyu in the Kamakura era was drained into Sadogashima by the Hojos, I see this flower, and make sport of a heart and depend on tradition that I forgot capital longing. The flower language is said to be "parting" or "brief rest" by this origin. But it is said that the history of the cultivation is from the Edo era [12]. There is already a record in (1805) for culture two years, and it is considered that it was cultivated from the this past. The color of a flower includes purple, a peach, the white, but what is liked most is purple, and it is only a purple thing that circulate as Gymnaster savatieri with cut flowers. A seed does not have fertility and multiplies it only by division [13].
The cut flowers cultivation is prosperous for a long time in Shizuoka west remote place, and it is said that it was a point needing a technique in particular that I increase height of a rice plant, and promote flowering. Gibberellin came to be used for this later [14].
