Geography

History
Establishment of the Shioya village

沖之村遊郭
There are a lot of red light districts in the neighborhood of Okita district from the Edo era (called 沖之村遊郭), and the Tsukiji red light district that there was near current Kagoshima Station in (1899) in 1899 is said by construction of Kagoshima Station that I moved to 沖之村遊郭内 [7].
