Kita-gun (I came) is a county of Kagawa.
A population of 27,628 people, area 75.78km², population density 365 /km². (on October 1, 2016 population by estimate)

The county level that started in (1899) in 1899 at the time is almost equivalent to the following areas in the current jurisdiction other than one town mentioned above.
- Takamatsu-shi (Kitacho, Hayashicho, Uebayashi-cho, Sandanimachi, Nishiuetacho, Sugasawacho and to the east)
- Sanuki-shi (Showa)
Showa, Sanuki-shi is incorporated into Okawa-gun later.

- Kita-gun starts by the enforcement of the - county system (1899) with an area of Miki county, Yamada-gun on April 1 in 1899. The following municipalities belong. I assume west virtue temple of Hirai-mura larger section of a village Ikedo a temporary county government office. (19 villages)
- Old Miki county (7 villages) - Depths deer village、Tanaka village、Hikami village、Shimotakaoka-mura、Well village、Hirai-mura、Mure-mura
- Former Yamada-gun (12 villages) - 庵治村、Furutaka Matsumura、Liman Motomura、Former Tamura、Kawazoe-mura、木太村、Hayashimura、Mitani village、Sakanoue-mura、Toga village、East Ueda-mura、West Ueda-mura
- - Hirai-mura enforces town organization (1919) on April 1 in 1919 and becomes Hirai-cho. (one town 18 village)
- I move - county government office to Hirai-cho larger section of a village Ikedo 2340-1 (place with the existing Ikedo public hall) (1919) in 1919.
- - liman Motomura is renamed to Yashima-mura (1920) on January 1 in 1920.
- - Sakanoue-mura renames the town organization enforcement (1922) on April 1 in 1922 and becomes Kawajima-machi. (two towns 17 village)
- - County Council is abolished (1923) on March 31 in 1923. The county government office continues.
- - county government office is abolished (1926) on June 30 in 1926. After that it becomes the area classification name.
- - Yashima-mura enforces town organization (1933) on April 1 in 1933 and becomes Yashima-cho. (three towns 16 village)
- - Yashima-cho, Furutaka Matsumura, 木太村 is admitted into Takamatsu-shi (1940) on February 11 in 1940. (two towns 14 village)
