A Japanese National Railways Taki 43000 form freight train (こくてつ Taki 43000 がたかしゃ) is a freight train for exclusive use of the gasoline produced from 1967 (tank car). By private wagon which Japan Oil Talminar or Japan Oil Transportation owns, it is incorporated the car family register into Japan Freight Railway Co. (JR freight) after the Japanese National Railways division and privatization of 1987 at first in the Japanese National Railways (Japanese National Railways).

Summary

In the railway freight, operational forms of "the conformity transportation according to supplies" increased from about 1965. I pile up the roses such as limestone, cement, oil products, and this gathers a transportation base about a transportation (bulk transportation) item at the terminal according to the supplies for exclusive use of each item that I founded and is the transport scene which operates a direct train composed by an exclusive freight train between bases, and performs lump mass transit.

In the oil products such as the gasoline, Japan Oil Talminar Co., Ltd. was established by the co-funding with Japanese National Railways and each oil company in 1966, and, with Nishi-Ueda Station and Kuragano Station as a start, a base was founded in each place. The new form that was developed for the purpose of allotting it to the exclusive train to this each base is Taki 43000 form (for exclusive use of the gasoline), Taki 44000 form (for exclusive use of oil).

I adopted a tank body of frameless structure and 異径胴 for transportation efficiency improvement and extended the capacity to the maximum and realized load of 43t. This is maximum with the twin bogey tank car at the time. The outside coat color was considered to be exceptional blue 15 (deep blue) for a tank car for exclusive use of the gasoline for identification.

I received tank car structure standard revision of 1974, and production was stopped, but reopened production after changing it in 1982. 989 total 2 forms is produced by 1993 while passing through various kinds of, changing it afterward and are used for a train for exclusive use of the oil with Taki 1000 form of the succession mainly in an area from Nagoya and to the east.

The body adopted a tank body and unified frameless structure in the underframe which omitted a side beam for lightweighting. The tank body extends a diameter of the central part to a lot of car-gauge and assumes both ends oblique cone shape and 異径胴 which I did. Because the specific gravity of the load is different, length of the tank body central part is different with Taki 43000 form and Taki 44000 form. The going up and down ladder avoids body central part, and it is set up by the small flank of the tank diameter. The Taki 44000 form for exclusive use of oil installs a heating pipe to use for a hatch for the check and load collecting lowering in the tank end plate.

The cart used TR210 form of the plain bearing with a ベッテンドルフ type at first. This was a coil spring and the cart which did it in a bolster spring with an axle on the basis of standard cart TR41 form for the freight train in the 14t axis of 重荷重対応, but a journal box device was improved from the 100th level by a seal kolo bearing and the TR214 form which I did because the run resistance in the product car greatly affected use by the long formation. 軸重 is limited to the operational railroad section at 15t (gross weight 60t). It is a maximum of 75km/h in speed.

The outside coat color was only blue 15, but, by possession only for one Japan Oil Talminar, Japan Oil Transportation started same shape-style injection at first from (1974) in 1974, too. The car owned by the company was the general black painting, but the last production group is changed to divide light and shade green and gray coating, and brand "ENEOS" mark of the JX energy is put on the tank body right side about a part applied for an oil tank place of the JX energy.

37 cars were produced in Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Nippon Sharyo, Ltd. in 1967. They are equipped with a plain bearing, cast iron brake shoe TR210 form cart on, and the titles such as the exclusive classification put it, and they are written down in the one side a vehicle number by the lateral center.
I fall down, and the TR210 form cart with the difficulty is changed for a series of kolo bearing cart TR214 like after 100th level in performance later.

15 cars were produced from 1968 through 1969 in Nippon Sharyo, Ltd. The basic specifications are the same as the 100th level, but the brakes brake shoe remains made of cast iron in consideration of snow performance-resistant to manage it in Hokkaido. I received snow type resin brake shoe practical use in later years-resistant, and, as for the production of afterward, the products for Hokkaido were unified in the 100th level, too.

95 cars were produced in Nippon Sharyo, Ltd. in 1974. By car owned by this affiliation's first Japan Oil Transportation produced in consideration of the appropriation to Narita International Airport fuel transportation, an outside coat color is black.
With the safety standards revision of the tank car enforced in the same year, I adopted specifications in consideration of ensuring safety in the range of a design conventionally. For ensuring safety at the time of the derailment overturn, I changed the opening and shutting Toriide Exit dialect in the lower body to the method to operate in the upper tank. 45 cars were produced in Nippon Sharyo, Ltd. and Fuji Heavy Industries in 1982. On the production resumption of these procedures, I changed a tank shape to find the security space before and after the vehicle by division designed as the vehicle which balanced loading efficiency with safe performance. The tank body diameter extends 50mm and shortens tank full length 252mm in the end plate of the flat shape that greatly took a spherical surface radius and a thing doing. The slatted wooden flooring of the upper tank was improved in the shape that added to strength to prevent tank handstand at the time of the overturn.

Only one car was produced in Nippon Sharyo, Ltd. in 1987. The tank body of no painting using the stainless steel is a car only specification for exclusive use of the gasoline. The tank cradle made big is silver; with the nickname of "silver Taki" [1]. The car edge underframe is black. The cart uses the TR215 form which I delivered from surplus コキ 1000 form container truck. The number was sorted by the 143000th level, but named "1" in a turn of the 600th level sequel to. It is managed mainly around Kanto District [1].

240 cars were produced from 1989 through 1993 in Nippon Sharyo, Ltd. I became the change of tank dimensions, aluminum alloy of a ladder, the slatted wooden flooring and planned lightweighting and the expansion of the capacity and extended load to 44t of the 1t increase. As for the outside coat color, as for the vehicle to 243665, as for the vehicles from one color of black, 243666 to 243680, a vehicle of one color of black painting and two colors of painting of emerald green + gray is mixed with all cars by possession car of Japan Oil Transportation, and the following vehicle is two colors of painting of emerald green + gray. The cart is gray with all cars.

It is a tank car for exclusive use of the oil of the 43t product (除 gasoline). 170 cars were produced from 1967 through 1982 in Nippon Sharyo, Ltd. Because the specific gravity of the load is big, the full length has a shorter approximately 2m than Taki 43000 form and equips the tank end plate of the car edge with a hatch for the check and a heating pipe for cargo work.

24 cars were produced in 1967. I am equipped with a plain bearing, cast iron brake shoe TR210 form cart on.
  • The 100th level (Taki 44100 - Taki 44223)
124 cars were produced from 1968 through 1974. I changed the cart to the TR214A form of a kolo bearing, the resin brake shoe.
  • Cold region specifications car (Taki 44500 - Taki 44506)
Seven cars were produced in 1968. The division which assumed a cart TR214 form of a kolo bearing, the cast iron brake shoe to manage it in Hokkaido. It is the same as Taki 43000 form to have unified production of afterward in the 100th level by later snow type resin brake shoe practical use-resistant.
  • Security measures car (Taki 44507 - Taki 44521)
15 cars were produced in 1982. By division equivalent to the 600th level of the Taki 43000 form, the tank body changes a diameter to 50mm expansion, the end plate of the flatness shape and shortens the tank head 217mm. It is done 付番, but the specifications are totally different in a turn of the product for Hokkaido 500th level sequel to.

Present situation

The new production of the frameless structure car was prohibited by tank car structure standard revision of 1974, and the production of this system stopped it once. Meanwhile, the loading efficiency of the thing which spent a Taki 40000 form 40t product tank car and the Taki 38000 form 36t product tank car which improved safety was inferior to this system. However, this affiliation given an important post considers the request of the shipper from high loading efficiency and reopens production on changing it partly in 1982.

There is the current owner on the vehicle to transfer to by the changes of the supply and demand system between two companies in two companies of Japan Oil Talminar and Japan Oil Transportation. After 1993, the new production shifted to the 45t product .95km/h Taki 1000 form who can run, but this system is used as a main force form of the trains for exclusive use of the oil universally now. The vehicle which some Taki 43000 form that became redundant changes it for oil shipments on the washing in the tank by injection of the Taki 1000 form, and rearranged car and Taki 45000 form in the Taki 44000-shaped early days exists.

All cars were almost in good health, but cancellation of a car is pushed forward except a some accidents car sequentially after 2009. Particularly, oil shipments train of Hokkaido District decreases after 2012, and a surplus car occurs in large quantities because oil shipments train in Hokkaido District was finished in 2014 [2], and the large-scale transfer of a census register of this system is performed [3].
