The Ishikawa Prefectural Nonoichi Meirin high school (いしかわけんりつののいちめいりんこうとうがっこう) is a prefectural high school at Nonoichi, Ishikawa City lower forest 3. It was installed relatively newly as a prefectural high school. The name of "Meirin" is associated with sentence school "Meirin temple" coming from one paragraph of "Mencius" in an educational institution for han children founded in the residence place of chief vassal Yokoyama of the Kaga feudal clan which was in the southwestern part of present Kenroku-en Garden, but there are not the direct relations. The will of "clarifying the course of the person" with "Meirin." The popular name of the high school name is "めいりん".

• It is the only high school existing in the Nonoichi city. Opening of a school time has fallen on time of the new school building construction of Ishikawa Prefectural Izumi Kanazawa hill Senior High School, and the general view of the school building is similar to the high school very much.
