The Japanese ghost of the figure that I worked as Harada, and the stomach soup stock [¹] gained hands and feet in a big face. I appear a lot in the ghost-related book of writer, Arifumi Sato.

Summary

I appear at midnight and drink it with pleasure when I advance liquor and begin a funny dance. I am said to have possibilities to be good for a person to see the dance. Like many other ghosts, I do not annoy a human being [²]. I have a cheerful character and may cheer up a grieving human being. When a troubled human being treats you with liquor, I dance a stomach dance and erase the trouble and am explained with [¹] to be able to excite the hope.

By the different opinion, it is old and is considered to be a ghost living in the tattered temple. When it has a look, it is a normal human figure, but it can disguise itself as various things, and it likes it I create faces in particularly one's stomach, and to threaten a person [³]. However, I put up the person who lost the way in a temple and I had a kind character and have really treated the person who was at a loss in a snowstorm with a feast in a warm room [⁴].

These commentary is not confirmed in a book or a tradition document of the Edo era and the commentary may be creation by Arifumi Sato and has it pointed out by (2000 ...) after [⁵] and Heisei because the source of the information is unclear.

The picture that was introduced はらだしであると

 

Than written by Kyoden Santo Toyohiro Utagawa image "all floating peony biographies" "伯州船上山古寺之怪" (はくしゅうふねのうえやまふるでらのかい)

Arifumi Sato introduces picture (thing of the shape that hands and feet grow from a human head) をはらだしとして where I drew an original unknown ghost. In addition, I place the picture of the ghost of the big nun of the face drawn on the picture scroll "legendary tribe of cave dwellers inhabiting ancient Japan Japanese-style bound book" as a plate saying that it is はらだしの friend [²].

In a book "ghost collection of pictures of Sanpei Kasu," I show ghost [⁶] (cf. image) to have a face to a stomach described in a frontispiece of handbook "all floating peony biographies" (written by Kyoden Santo, Toyohiro Utagawa image) of the publication (culture six years) in 1809 and the commentary called "the はらだしの ghost" who makes a face, and threatens a person described the done figure which the old painting of the crime wave picture scroll which was in the old temple of ship Kaminoyama appearing in "all floating peony biographies" realizes the figure, and [⁷] appeared in a stomach at an old temple and is [⁸]. In addition, the name of Arifumi Sato is mentioned for the commentary sentence of the ibidem by the refuse, and a book of Sato is apparent to what is used as reference materials, but Arifumi Sato the figure of the book "Harada does it", and do not use it for の plate.
