Frankfurt (light cruiser)
Frankfurt (SMS Frankfurt) is a German naval cruiser. One ship of the Wiesbaden grade small size cruiser.
Warship career

When an examination was completed on October 12, 1915, Frankfurt was assigned to the second reconnaissance group. Frankfurt carried out commerce destruction in Skagerrak and Kattegat. In March, 1916 and April, Frankfurt performed the attack to the British east bank several times. Frankfurt was a flagship of the second reconnaissance group that Frederick Boedicker major general led at the time of the Jutland offing sea fight. Wiesbaden of the warship of the same type sank by the sea fight, and some Frankfurt received a dead shot, too.
In the autumn of 1917, Frankfurt participated in capture operation of エーゼル islands of the Baltic Sea (Operation ALBION). Then I came back to the North Sea and participated in the second ヘルゴラント byte sea fight on November 17, 1917. Frankfurt received several dead shots and caused the injured person of six dead people and 18.
On August 12, 1918, the fourth reconnaissance group increased Frankfurt. Frankfurt left for the Baltic Sea as a change of laying cruiser ブルンマー, but I took over from cruiser Regensburg five days later and came back to the North Sea. After having stayed in the arsenal of Wilhelmshaven, Frankfurt moved to the Baltic Sea again. On October 21, 1918, Frankfurt collided in submarine UB89, and UB89 sank.
I was detained after the war by スカパ flow. A sinking order was given on June 21, 1919, but Frankfurt was made to run aground by a British hand in the shallows. Frankfurt was delivered to the United States and was sunk by a bombing experiment in 1921.
