Summary
All "foreign country library" 13 volumes were published (1927) in (1931) in -1931 year in 1927. They were going to be published at first by 聚芳閣, but they made one "Jesuit Japan Communications first book", and all the remaining winding is published by 駿南社. It is the library that Japanese translation did important documents of the history of Japan and Europe negotiations to reach Philip Franz phone Siebold who is in the latter half of the Edo era from terminal Society of Jesus historical materials for the age of civil strife (reprint of historical materials but Japanese in "増訂異国日記抄"). Six publication was planned as a follow-up more, but did not come true.
All six "foreign country library publication sequel to" was planned by the Imperial Educational Institution publishing division, but remained only in the publication of two "Jesuit Japan Communications Bungo" (1936) afterwards. These two volumes are reprinted to "a new foreign country library" later.
Sakae Okugawa [1] who was the publisher of the 駿南社版 "foreign country library" republishes a plain version afterwards from own Okugawa bookshop to run in (1941) in 1941.
A seaside pine temple bookstore published a revision recreation "foreign country library" after the war in (1966) in 1966. Furthermore, the company planned the publication of "the new foreign country library" and published first 輯 (for from 1968 to 1970 13), second 輯 (for from 1982 to 1985 ten), all 35 volumes of third 輯 (for from 2002 to 2004 ten) (because a publishing division was made a branch shrine in 1983 of second 輯刊行中, it becomes the publication of the seaside pine temple publication afterward). A personal diary, travelogue, record of personal experiences of the late Tokugawa period, the revolution period is put in official records such as missions, second, III 輯 in first 輯. In the editing committee, Seiichi Iwao, Tomio Hora, Akio Okada, Jiro Numata, third 輯 are Kazuo Katagiri, 金井圓, Takashi Miyanaga first, II 輯. With the general index published elsewhere in (2005) in 2005 [2].
The seaside pine temple publication republished a revision recreation "foreign country library" as an on-demand edition in 2005. With a seaside pine temple bookstore having been merged in (2016) in 2016 by Maruzen, Maruzen seaside pine temple publishes it now in 2016.
In addition, recorded translation is not necessarily a complete translation. For example, as for the Siebold "江戸参府紀行" "history of Nihon Kotsu trade," abridged translation of "Japan", ケンプェル "江戸参府紀行" translate selected chapters of "the day this magazine", and クルウゼンシュテルン "Japan travelogue" is the abridged translation of "the description of world circumnavigation" [3]. In addition, some translation (reason of Naojiro Murakami, Shuzo Kure, Agu Saito, Seiichi Iwao) becomes the written language reason.
