Originally that this building is a transformer substation "Chinese transformer substation of the supply of electric power (existing Chugoku Electric Power) in China in southern supply of electric power" and supplies it (1943) to the Ujina area in 1943; the completion [¹] [²].

I am bombed by A-bomb throwing down to Hiroshima-shi (1945) on August 6 in 1945 [¹]. Was located to approximately 3.79km from the center of an explosion, and the windowpane was broken, but did not collapse [¹]; [²]. I reopen the transmission on August 7, the following day [²]. I had been used for a long time as a transformer substation, but it was here in an unoccupied house, and Chugoku Electric Power was not used for another place for a long time (1994) afterwards for 1,994 years when I built the new transformer substation either.

It was used (2008) as an Italian restaurant from October in 2008. In the case of store reconstruction, most of the appearance did not add a hand and used some things used for the interior decoration in the shop at an old transformer substation [³]. This store only becomes the unoccupied house again now in closing a shop, 2014, too [⁴].
