Endel Tulving (Endel Tulving, March 26, 1927 -) is a Canadian psychologist of the birth in Estonia. One of the global authority about the human memory. Professor emeritus at University of Toronto.
I acted as Toronto university professor for a long time and made the Toronto school in the psychological study of the memory by hosting a memory meeting for the study (popular name "Ebbinghaus empire") in the University of Toronto.
In human memory called the episode memory proposed that had a special memory, and developed the memory theory that featured that it made a quality of human being.
At the time of the invitation lecture in the society, I let the costume of the bear come up, and oneself pretends not to notice it even if the audience notices and gives an explanation, "memory false in this way is made", and even rich personality is known to humor mind.
I won Gardner international prize in 2005.
