Commonwealth of Nations Pacific Airlines
Commonwealth of Nations Pacific airline (えいれんぽうたいへいようこうくう English: British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines abbreviated designation BCPA) is the airline which has been ever navigated after World War II.
Summary
I was established for the purpose of navigating the airway that linked North America to Australia in June, 1946. The establishment was carried out in New South Wales, Australia, but the head office was put in Sydney.
The investor was British Government and the government of Oceania countries which belonged to the Commonwealth of Nations, and the ratio was Australian (50%) New Zealand (30%) and the U.K. (20%).
It was Sydney - Oakland - Fiji - Hawaii - San Francisco - Vancouver, and the route of the navigation service went into service later to Melbourne.
BCPA entrusted you with navigation by Douglas DC-4 of Australian National Airlines, and a service service left Sydney first on September 15, 1946.
In late 1948, BCPA received DC-6 and navigated it, but I fell into financial difficulties and was dissolved in May, 1954 because I caused the aircraft accident that William Kapell called the genius pianist was rolled up in on October 29, 1953 in San Francisco.
I sold three DC-6 which BCPA held to the death to TEAL (current Air New Zealand), and the airway was transferred by Qantas Airways.
