装苑賞

装苑賞 (I do not obtain so it occur) is a fashion contest of the open call for participants for new face designers. In 1956, I was founded in commemoration of the female oriented fashion magazine "装苑" foundation of a periodical 20th anniversary. The history is old, and an opening to honors and the reason of the new face designer produce much celebrity designers such as Junko Koshino, Kenzo Takada, Kansai Yamamoto, Yoji Yamamoto so far now.

Application rule

The person whom there is not as an occupation by a fashion design as for the qualifications. But I can apply for two years after assuming a fashion design a main occupation. Meanwhile, the period when the person selected for a candidate work can apply more for one year is prolonged.

Examination

Was held at the time of the foundation twice a year, but annual from the 61st of 1987; became held. The examination was carried out to the fourth behind closed doors, but the present in a public examination form. • 装苑賞…A privilege to study in Nippon Television prize (from the 42nd), KENZO prize (from the 43rd), the prize from the support companies, the outfitting school in Paris as a certificate of merit, a trophy (Issei Miyake design) and the prize money, a supplementary prize is given.

• The fine work first place, the fine work second place…Nippon Television prize (from the 42nd), the prize from the support companies are given as a trophy and the prize money, a supplementary prize.
