Murderous fiend (2000) of the chopper lead history most bad luck
I make my debut as a supervisor in "the murderous fiends of the chopper lead history most bad luck" about the actual criminal chopper lead () of Australia in 2000 [1]. There was the good performance of the Eric banner starring and was almost evaluated to a critic high [2]. I won Directing Award, Actor in a Leading Role Award, Actor in a Supporting Role Award in the association of Australian movie prize.
Assassination (2007) of Jesse James
A supervision 2 item performed "the assassination of Jesse James" of a novel of the same name with the original, and Casey アフレック appeared with Brad Pitt [3]. The main photography in Canada was completed in 2005, but the exhibition was postponed with a large delay of the editing work from 2006 through 2007 [4]. The studio side expected "little meditation and many actions", but Dominick and Pitt expected a slower style. Several phases of movies were edited, and there were four hours longest version [5]. I needed one year or more for postproduction by the last version completion, and one hour or more were cut after all [6]. I was nominated for Cinematography Award (Roger Dee Kyn) and Actor in a Supporting Role Award (アフレック) at Academy Award.
Jackie Coe cancer (2012)
Dominick supervised dark comedy "Jackie Coe cancer" which assumed a novel of George V Higgins () the original in partnership with Brad Pitt again [7]. The photography was carried out from January, 2011 to May [8]. Was projected in a premiere in a competition section of the 65th Cannes Film Festival, and competed for palm Dole [9]; [10]. Wine Stein company distributes it in the United States of America, and an exhibition is planned in November, 2012.
The project that I started before
The Paramount movie came close to Dominick in 2003, and offered the supervision of the novel "understood man" of 1953 of Alfred Bester, but fell into デヴェロップメント Hel () by the discrepancy of the opinion with the script side [11]; [12].
Dominick was arrested to supervision, the script candidate of the novel "inner murderer" of Jim Thompson, but left it [13]. Director Michael Winterbottom filmized the work by the same author as "killer inside me" later.
The work that I am planning
As one of the next projects of Dominick, the filmization of the reminiscences "life () of blond - Marilyn Monroe" of aerial Marilyn Monroe by the Joyce Carol Oates writing surfaces. The photography start planned January, 2011, but was reserved because of "Jackie Coe cancer". Naomi Watts plays Monroe [14]; [15] [16].
A French movie of 2006 "shut lips", and Dominick writes a script for の United States remake. It is not yet decided whether you supervise it [17].
Dominick was interested in "pop 1280" () of Jim Thompson and the filmization of "the town () of the plain" of Cormac McCarthy by an interview of 2008, but security at production time stated that it was difficult [18]; [19].
