The andradite (かいてつざくろいし, andradite, andradite [1]) is a kind of the minerals (silicate mineral). According to the Japanese name, the chemical composition is Ca3Fe3+2(SiO4)3 with garnet full of calcium and iron. A crystal system is a tesseral system.

The crystal having high transparency of the apple-green is treated as a jewel called demantoid (Demantoid). Popularity is high in the United States.
