An older brother and younger sister
The story that an older brother and the younger sister (an older brother and younger sister) come to Europe widely. Brüderchen und Schwesterchen put in "Grimm's Fairy Tales" is known most. AT classification 480 [1].

Origin
The oldest documents of this story are left for "ペンタメローネ" of Jean Batista Basile written in the 17th century and are supposed when this is Omoto [2].
In "older sister アリョーヌシカ and younger brother イワーヌシカ" (СЕСТРИЦААЛЁНУШКАИБРАТЕЦИВАНУШКА) put in "the collection of folktales in Russia", three springs transform themselves into a calf, a foal, a kid each.
When this story collects it the Grimm brothers, it is said that confusion produced it because "Hansel and Gretel" were called it with the same title. I was satisfied by changing the name toward "Hansel and Gretel", but may be confused now after all.
