ナド Al Korean lawn grass racetrack (ナドアルシバ けいばじょう, Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, Arabic :مضمارندالشبا) is a racetrack in United Arab Emirates, Dubai.
Construction was started in 1986 and was used as Baba for the horse training of the race horse at first. The first race is carried out here in 1991. The Churchill Downs racetrack of the United States was built by a model. The Dubai World Cup is started as a race of the world maximum amount prize money in those days in 1996.
In addition, the release of the betting ticket is not carried out because here is a Muslim country, and a gamble is prohibited. But I expect the winning horse of all races, and the expectation lottery that a premium appears is performed by a person of hit.
All the races of the Dubai meeting including the Dubai World Cup were only for 2009, and they finished the holding at the racetrack with May Dan racetrack being established newly in the adjoining land in 2010. Course
The shape is almost a triangle. A counter-clockwise direction. One lap of 2,254m, inside are one lap of 2,121m in a turf course in a dirt course course the outside.
Dirt course course
The pocket for the start is prepared for by the corner outside and becomes 2,000m, 1,600m, the start point of straight line 1,200m each. The straight line in front of the goal of the race to go around the section is 600m. It was a surface hard high speed dirt course seen in the United States mainly, but I might add a turf course, and, at the time of construction, it was in the slightly deeper dirt course where the cushion worked for at the time of repair in 1997. Because even the desert zone may be hit by torrential rain, a device coating the whole course is attached.
Turf course
Because it is desert climate, a special technique is used for upbringing of the turf. Quack grass is used for the turf, but an overseed is given because growth of the turf settles on even Dubai in winter.
The golf course of a little turf courses is added to a riding ground in the Imperial Court in the Middle East, too.
