History

Because the accidents such as suicide or the runover death accident came to occur after the opening of business in sequence in a station and the outskirts, the days when a stationmaster and the staff could not sleep in peace continued. It became clear to have destroyed the nest of the fox which levelled the Torigoe mountain where looked good with north side 0.5km from the station, and lived in the mountain to get the soil of the base in the case of Shitanoe Station construction when a stationmaster confirmed it considerably in the maintenance of tracks office and after an engaged construction supplier erecting the Inari Shinto shrine as road safety prayer (1930) on November 3 in 1930, and holding a service, did not have the accident. This stationmaster was an irreligion believer, but it is said that I was converted into Takashi Nichiren taking advantage of this event. However, a freight train derailed in the station yard when a stationmaster of the next era neglected rest annual festival of the busyness, and the casualty that a stoker died instantly, and a conductor bore a serious wound has occurred. Thereafter the successive stationmaster does November 3 that is an erection day of this Shinto shrine with annual festival day, and it is decided to perform annual festival at the time.
