Gold mine maintenance law
A policy in 1943 when it became the turning point of the history of Mt. gold ore of Japan with the gold mine maintenance law (きんこうざんせいびれい). I encouraged a gold increase in production for the import settlement, but if arsenal import became difficult, I reversed myself by the outbreak of war and closed the gold ore.
Summary
As for the gold mine maintenance law, close to the "policy point commercial and industrial ministry [3] about the mining industry maintenance" not single laws and ordinances on April 9 for the second January 22 "gold mining industry ノ maintenance ニ Seki through matter" cabinet decision [2] .1943 years for the first "gold mining industry and tin mining industry ノ rearranging ニ Seki through matter" cabinet decision [1] .1943 years on October 22, 1942 [4]. I call it the gold mining industry maintenance law, Kanayama maintenance law, gold ore maintenance law [5].
The government raised a purchase price and recommended digging of the money to increase quantity of gold possession necessary for the settlement of the material import from Europe and America under the gold standard before the World War II outbreak of war. A price set of 1 monme (= 3.75 g) of gold 5 yen [6] by the Coinage Act enforced in 1897 was "a bullion purchase regular export procedure" in 1932, and it was 1 monme 12 yen [8], and 買入価格 of the Bank of Japan was raised to nearly 3 times in 1 monme 14 yen 43 sen [9] and six years in May, 1938 by 1 monme 7 yen 25 sen [7], "日本銀行金買入法" in 1934. In addition, incentive wages are issued for grant and searching for oil fields, ore dressing ground setting, refinement place setting of the premium that accepted production "a product gold purchase rule" (the Ministry of Finance) in 1937 by departmental orders such as ・" product gold encouragement rule (the commercial and industrial ministry); of reduction, the instrumentation of the gold ore railway fare the loans were performed free, too. Furthermore, "the product five years plan was devised in the same year, too", and the route of the gold increase in production was shown [10]. I developed it, and Mt. large number of gold ore was operated in Japan, and the increase in production system was in this way taken.
However, significance of (gold) as the overseas payment use faded when munition material by the import from Europe and America was cut off with the anti-Britain and the United States outbreak of war. And I decided to close a mine, and to appropriate material, labor to provide for oneself with mineral resources directly necessary for war including copper, iron, coal, lead, zinc, manganese [11]. As a general rule, the Mt. all gold ore became a holiday, the closing a mountain.
I came to harden determination to let the government closed all domestic Kanayama with a big wise decision in here and switch it to large increases in production such as copper, iron, the coal for industry in Kanayama immediately

But, in the mine which produced silicate necessary for the mine which produced copper or other important minerals other than money, copper refinement, the operation was recognized. In addition, it was done 保坑 of the thing which the large-scale gold mine comprised it after war end and did not operate [11]. For example, 45 mines operated it in Hokkaido, but it became 3 mines (on a marsh Otowa, Teine), and it was done 保坑, and 2 mines (Konomai mine, Chitose mine) became [12]. The operation right of the gold mine which became the closing a mountain was moved to empire mining industry development Co., Ltd. that was a national policy concern in the wartime [13]. The staff and the machine parts of the gold mine which stopped the operation were turned round for the increase in production of other mines. There was the case that damage such as the gallery being buried in water by the operation stops of the drainage pump occurred, and the gold mine which became the shutdown needed time for postwar re-operation.
