Authority of Article 3
One of the East-West streets Kyoto-shi, Kyoto is important as for the authority of Article 3 (さんじょうどおり [1]).
I am equivalent to Sanjooji of Heiankyo. In addition, Article 3 Ohashi that appeared in Kamogawa was the terminal of fifty-three stages of the Tokaido.

Summary
In the east, the west reaches Arashiyama (Togetsu-kyo Bridge) of Ukyo-ku from Yamashina-ku Shinomiya. The part of the doorway of Kyoto of Tokaido was called one "foxtail millet Taguchi" of "the entrances to the ladies' chambers of Kyoto", and the Awata Shinto shrine which was near was believed in as "God of the departure".
