四念処

四念処

With 四念処 (しねんじょ, Tomoe: cattāro satipaṭṭhānā, チャッターロ サティパッターナー), it is named four kinds of 観想法 for realization in the Buddhism generally. I say "四念処観" (I cannot die), "four sense houses" (しねんじゅう) [1]. One in "37 ways product."

It is central and the most relevant 観想法 for the times of the initial Buddhism of Buddha to lead to realization and is 観想法 which "watches it" among "giving up illusions and attaining enlightenment" (Samata meditation, ヴィパッサナー meditation) of the Buddhism meditation, and forms the core of (ヴィパッサナー meditation) [the source required].

Description of the sacred book

In the Pali sacred book, it is mentioned repeatedly in "大般涅槃経" and,

  • "大念処経" (pass through a large sense house, and the Osabe 22nd passes)
  • "念処経" (I pass through 四念処経, the central part tenth)

などでも, it is persuaded in detail.

Contents

As for the contents of 四念処, following [2].

  • I feel the dirtiness of the 身念処 (body sense house) - body (outlook on dirtiness)
  • I feel that the reputation running out of 受念処 (receive a sense house) -1 is pain (as for all all pain)
  • I feel the mutability of the 心念処 (heart sense house) - heart (the impermanence of all things)
  • I feel selflessness (as for any phenomenon to oneself non-ず) of the 法念処 (Honen house) - law (law selflessness)
