Miyuki Street (Himeji-shi)

The Miyuki street (according to Miyuki) is an arcade mall in Himeji-shi. I point to approximately 550m to an intersecting point with National highway No. 2 in front of Himeji Station running side by side with 1 line east side of the Otemae Street which links Himeji-jo Castle to JR Himeji Station (in the north Honcho mall).

History

A military exercise was carried out on Harima plains in (1903) in 1903. In the northern part of a castle parade ground equal to the current Himeji racetrack, the cause review of troops of the Emperor Meiji royal visit was held. I maintained the road which reached from Himeji Station the northern part of a castle parade ground then and named city region of this way an authority of going out for a royal visit (there are not most of transcribing it in a kanji now).

The temporary power was lost by the competition with the suburbs store, but the positioning as the commercial axis of the Himeji city area is firm recently.

Maruzen opened a store in Nikaimachi including the branch with local Xinxing bookshop, honesty temple bookstore, and the bookstores of seven big things and small things lined up to around 700m a lot of bookstores Miyuki until the 1980s very much to go when I put it together with Honcho mall. However, there were the Himeji advances of JUNKUDO, and, in Maruzen, even both head offices of Xinxing bookshop, the honesty temple bookstore which formed two excellent things from the start withdrew from according to Miyuki, and the ex-feature has been completely lost. When it is now, I can rather remember former times at the Honcho mall where two small bookstores stay.

Remodeling construction ended the pavement of a ceiling and the road of the arcade which became obsolete on April 26, 2014, and a completion ceremony and a parade were carried out (as for the term of works approximately ten months); [¹] [²].
