Windows Image Acquisition

It is abbreviation of Windows Image Acquisition, and WIA (ダブリュ eye A) is one of the technical standards to input an image from image scanner by Windows (API).

There is a function to recognize it automatically, and to take in an image when I connect a digital camera and image scanner to a PC through USB and IEEE 1394.

As a thing for the TWAIN, it is adopted in 2000 by Windows Me and is used in a version of Windows of afterward.
