ファルサフ

ファルサフ

It is a unit of distance in the Islam with ファルサフ (Arabic: فرسخ).

I am used as a unit of the distance in the Koran and hadith by a unit used for the prophet Muhammad life time era. For example, I am written as "the springs which there is to 6 ファルサフ from マッカ with フダイビーヤ". I am used among the Islamic lawyers (Ulama) in the present age, but it is converted into a mile or a kilometer among the general believers and is often used.

There are various opinions how many meters 1 ファルサフ is and varies according to the times. It is said that it is approximately 5-6 kilometers by the modern general opinion. Even if I am it from the parasang which is a unit of distance used formerly in ancient Persia, I am said to be it.

ファルサフ comes out to the restrictions that a Muslim should follow in the present age. However, is more than 100 kilos, getting and back in a day becomes easy in the present age when transportation developed, and there is the Islamic lawyer thinking that it is unsuitable for the fact.
