Yuishin Ito
Yuishin Ito (いとうゆいしん, 別表記: in 伊藤唯眞, 1931 in (1931 on) March 14 -) is Japanese scholar of Buddhism, Jodo sect of Buddhism priest (Jodo chief abbot, head temple of a Buddhist sect Chion-in Temple 88th Chief Abbot of the Honganji Temple), 佛教大学名誉教授.

Person
I am born in Koka-gun, Shiga (existing: Konan-shi) Ishibe-cho. As a researcher, I studied Japanese Buddhism cultural history, religion folklore specialty in the ancient times, the Middle Ages and reclaimed the new aspect for a history of development, Jodo sect of Buddhism study of the prayer to Buddha religious community from the viewpoint. I took Japanese folk society councilor, Councilor Japanese Association for Religious Studies, the Shiga Council for the Protection of Cultural Properties committee. I dealt with much Jodo sect of Buddhism-related documents, writing editing even if I put it in a sect. 伊藤真昭 of the son is a Buddhism historian in the Middle Ages, too. A true younger brother has 中井真孝佛教大学名誉教授, former president in scholars of Buddhism.
