After the 1990s, movement aiming at separation from ゼムン became active again. It determined population more than 50,000 people and decided that the Belgrade municipal assembly isolated スルチン ward from the ゼムン ward on November 24, 2003 although I did not completely meet the charter of Belgrade City about the new establishment of the ward, and it was decided to be placed under the administrative jurisdiction of ゼムン temporarily until November 3, 2004 when ward assembly election was performed. However, after 2004 when the administration of a ward started formally, the politics of the ward wants to continue being complicated [2]; [3].
