Warship career
Washington started work at New York shipyard of New Jersey Camden on September 23, 1903. I named it it by Helen Stewart Wilson (daughter of Washington election member of the Upper House John L Wilson) on March 18, 1905 and was launched, and a conduct bottom of the Colonel captain James D Adams was placed on duty in Philadelphia naval shipyard on August 7, 1906.
When equipment of a ship was completed in Philadelphia, it sailed for Hampton Rose on November 1, and Washington set sail as the guards of battleship Louisiana (USS Louisiana, BB-19) where President Roosevelt who inspected Panama Canal got on one week later. During this voyage, Washington dropped in at Hampton Rose, pie knee point, Panamanian colon, Chile stake lagoon, the Mona straits and returned for Newport news on November 26. I went to the Cape Delaware on December 8, and repair was carried out to Philadelphia naval shipyard until dockage, spring of 1907 on 11th.
Washington left the league Island on April 11 and came to Hampton Rose the next day. I stayed on the ground until May and participated in Jamestown exhibition to memorialize that Jamestown was established in 1607 afterwards. Washington came back to the north soon, and the most of May were spent in New York naval shipyard by overhaul. I performed a stroke of a rowing crew in トンプキンズヴィル of Staten Island from May 28 to June 5 and I was sent back to Hampton Rose afterwards and participated in Jamestown exhibition again.
Washington leaves Hampton Rose on June 11 and I cross the Atlantic in Newport via Rhode Island Bradford on Tennessee (USS Tennessee, ACR-10) and junction, 14th and proceed to the European sea area. Both warships visited ロワイヤン, essence island, la パリシ and Brest from June 23 to July 25 and returned to トンプキンズヴィル in August and performed a Prince speed trial.
