Measures life
The measures life (strange a fence) is the Imperial edict of the Japanese sentence body used after the Heian era. I transcribe in particular it into "冊命" about the measures life to be carried out in the case of the installation of the empress, official investiture of the Crown Prince in particular.
Both "measures and" "冊" originally had the approximately same meaning as a kanji and meant the thing which I bundled up "簡" including a bamboo board to write on, the narrow strip of wood with message and wrote down a sentence. The seal of the installation of the empress and official investiture of the Crown Prince, King of dependency and feudal lords was based in China and called the order document which I started when I performed 賞賜 with measures life. The word "冊封" comes from this procedure, too.
It is unknown, but comes to call the order documents such as an Imperial tomb and a Shinto shrine, the appointment and dismissal of posthumous conferment-related messenger dispatch and personnel affairs that the history book before it sold as "an Imperial edict" in "sentence virtue authentic record" and "three generations authentic record" in history of six with measures life" how long these words came to be used in Japan. In addition, an item called "冊命皇后事" "冊名皇太子事" is raised about the installation of the empress of the empress and the official investiture of the Crown Prince of the Crown Prince in "a new ceremony", and it is considered that this name was carried out at the mid-tenth century said that "a new ceremony" was edited.
In addition, I called myself 策命使 in the Imperial envoys who reported it to the front of the grave of the person of object under the pretense of measures life in the Imperial edict that was started when I performed posthumous conferment of 従三位以上 after the Meiji era.
