Geography

Origin of the place name
It comes from that subsection Fujimoto of larger section of a village Enokido Nitta that was named by there having been Asama Corporation worshiped based on Fuji faith occupies local most. The main shrine of Asama Corporation collapsed in a typhoon in 1877, and an enshrined deity was moved to Atago Shrine of the Enokido Nitta local deity.
