Summary

"The temporary flying corps" organized at the time of World War I were dissolved after returning home (1915) in early January in 1915. It is "aviation battalion" to have been founded as the succession on October 14, the same year (aviation first battalion). This military unit put it together for a start of the army Airlines headquarters which summarized air force (1925) on June 1 in 1925, and I was raised by the flight first regiment.

In the same year, the reinforcement of the air force based on the Ugaki disarmament including the independence of the air service is planned, and ten squadrons (as for the breakdown fighter squadron 6, light bomber squadron 2, heavy bomber squadron 2) in total will be built more. Although it was a battalion scale at first, the flight first regiment received the transfer of two spy plane squadrons and was in this way increased in two spy plane squadrons, fighter squadron two.

The flight regiment was renamed to the flight squadron to operational unit and the vacant land separation of support people, and, in the flight first regiment, it was afterwards in a flight first squadron.
