Yoshimi-machi (stain town) is Middle Saitama, a town of approximately 20,000 population in the eastern part of Hiki-gun. The commuting rate to Higashimatsuyama-shi 15.9% (2010 national census). Tokyo urban area # Saitama (Tokyo commutable area).
Because there is cave old burial mound group "Yoshimi many grave-caves dugout in one place" (friendship, ひゃっけつ / ひゃくあな), I am known. In addition, it is the production center of the prefecture eminent strawberry, and "the village friendship of the roadside station strawberry" is run.

Geography
Most of the town level belong to the Arakawa low land of the Arakawa basin, and they become countryside. In the central part west of the town, Yoshimi hill affecting Matsuyama-jo Castle trace and the summit level in the boundary with Higashimatsuyama-shi from the Hiki hill spreads out, and there are many wetlands, and in late years the factory around the Hase industrial area and the small housing development are located a lot. The Yoshimi hill is appointed in a part of the prefectural Hiki hill nature park.
