ツインマーヴァルト astronomical observatory

ツインマーヴァルト astronomical observatory (Observatorium Zimmerwald) is the astronomical observatory which an astronomy department of the Bern University, Switzerland runs. It is located near south 10km, ツインマーヴァルト of Bern.

I was established in 1956, and observation with the diameter 25cm Schmidt telescope was begun, and, in 1957, a supernova of the 14th class brightness was discovered in Milky Way NGC2841 of Ursa Major by max シューレ, and Paul Wirth discovered the first comet. Observation with the Schmidt telescope of diameter 40cm was begun in 1959, and, in 1978, short periodic comet, 81P/ Wirth second comet were discovered.

The observation with the astrophotograph is finished in the 1970s, and the study of the field of the laser astronomy is conducted.
