Narcissus

The JavaScript engine of the open source written as Narcissus (null cissus) by a JavaScript.

Summary

It was written by Brendan Aic which developed a JavaScript for Netscape Navigator 2.0 for the first time.

Itself is written in Narcissus by a JavaScript and is metacircular interpreter. The name comes from good-looking boy, Narcissus who loved oneself of the Greek myth.

Narcissus employs a lot of non-standard expansion of SpiderMonkey and uses the original expansion in addition to SpiderMonkey for exclusive use of Narcissus. It works only on a development branch of SpiderMonkey now.
