William Wolker (William Walker, from May 8, 1824 to September 12, 1860) is American filibuster, adventurer, hired soldier. The Nicaraguan President (term in office from 1856 to 1857).

Career

TennesseeNashvilleA native place. I master medicine at 19 years old in Pennsylvania University when I graduate from Nashville University at 14 years old and acquire a doctor qualification. I continued learning medicine in Europe, but was interested in other study afterwards.

At the mid-19th century, the mood of the territorial expansion increased in the United States and Walker was accompanied by 45 subordinates from ambition to have own country in 1853, too and invaded the Mexico within the territory, and subsequently ロウアー California republic (Spanish version, English version) declared the establishment of the Sonora republic (English version) without permission in Sonora in the バハ California peninsula in 1854.
