Geography

It was located in the central part of Kagoshima, the northern part of current Kagoshima city limits. In larger section of a village Yoshino with the village office, 仙巌園 exists in the southern part on Yoshino plateau formed by a sand bar plateau. Larger section of a village Shimoda and 大字岡之原 are in the basin formed of Inari River.
