- Samukawa Kozu Tamura (つだむら), Tsuruwa-mura (つるわむら) starts by - municipality organization enforcement on February 15, 1890.
- - Tsuda village enforces town organization on February 11, 1898 and becomes Tamachi, Tsu (the first).
- - Samukawa county merges with Ouchi county on April 1, 1899 and becomes Okawa-gun.
- - Tamachi, Tsu and Tsuruwa-mura merge on September 8, 1956 and become Tamachi, Tsu (the second).
- It merges with - Okawacho, Shido-cho, Samukawa-machi, Nagao-cho on April 1, 2002 and municipal organization takes effect and becomes Sanuki-shi and becomes extinct.
