Old Ota Junior High School of the same name existed once in the Ota district, but it is abolished (1949) in April in 1949 by unification to Sakuracho Junior High School. And, by population growth of the rapid economic growth, new Ota Junior High School founded a school in form to isolate a precinct (1982) from Sakuracho Junior High School on April 1 in 1982.
