The Osaka City Sakae elementary school (おおさかしりつさかえしょうがっこう) is a board school in Naniwa-ku, Osaka-shi.
I found it in 1872 and am one of the old elementary schools of the history in Naniwa-ku.
I moved the premises of a school to 2, Kizugawa via a place of the current Osaka human rights Museum in 1975 and moved to the 1, Naniwahigashi, cause Naniwa young people Hall site in 2014 [1].

History
School foundation
The inhabitants of the Nishinari county Watanabe village (by municipality organization enforcement Nishihamacho) at the time showed a request of the school setting and founded a school as west composition 22nd ward Elementary School in 1872. It is written that it was claimed to be number one in Japan in those days according to the memory magazine of the school in the school building completed in September, 1875. After the changes of the school system, I called myself Nishinari county Sakae senior elementary school in 1893. The school name moves to Watanabe village character Sakaemachi that is the former place name of the location.
Nishihamacho was incorporated into Osaka-shi (a ward for Minami-ku, 1925 Naniwa-ku) in 1895 by the first city limits expansion of Osaka-shi. I call myself Sakae, Osaka-shi senior elementary school with this.
Sakae second (Toei) elementary school
In form to separate by increase of the number of the children from Sakae Elementary School in 1922, I set up Sakae, Osaka-shi second primary school (I starve with Toei (and am) national elementary school) in Kitajimamachi, Kizu, Minami-ku (from current 1, Naniwahigashi, Naniwa-ku, cause Naniwa young people Hall, 2014 Sakae Elementary School site). The conventional Sakae senior elementary school is renamed to the Sakae, Osaka-shi first senior elementary school with this.
Originally it was Kizu-mura that was adjacent not Nishihamacho, and the neighborhood of location of Sakae second Elementary School was called Kitajimamachi, Kizu, Minami-ku after Osaka-shi admission.
Osaka-shi until the early period of Showa era laid school district system. The school district system here divides the city into some elementary school expense burden areas (school district) unlike the meaning of "a precinct, the school district", and the miscellaneous expenses about elementary school setting, administration point to the structure to run as local property not the direct management of Osaka-shi. I established the school district every old municipalities before the Osaka-shi admission in the current Naniwa-ku neighborhood and dealt with school administration each.
The child of Kizu Kitajima-cho was to originally go to school to the elementary school (current Shikizu Elementary School, large country Elementary School) of the Kizu school district (former Kizu-mura).
However, the rapid increase of the population around Kizu Kitajima-cho pushed forward the attendance at school to the Sakae elementary school to the child resident in the district backed by a factor by the expansion of the Sakae school district (former Nishihamacho) being big in the Kizu school district. On the other hand, in the Sakae school district, acceptance from the area to be outside a school district to Sakae Elementary School was difficult. In addition, the collection of scenery where I lived had a lot of poors in the area, and the situation of the nonattendance of the child in the area came to be outstanding.
I incorporated Kizu Kitajima-cho into the Sakae school district in 1921 to cancel nonattendance and decided to build more elementary schools. In the same year, Kizu Kitajima-cho is renamed in Sakaemachi as if I symbolize this admission. Sakae second Elementary School wins an elementary school built more in 1922, the following day.
Existence next elementary school
Around Sakae Elementary School precinct, an existence neighboring (saying phosphorus) elementary school founds a school as a night elementary school for local poor children in 1911. The Namba chief constable at the time shows a school setting design and the charitable person of the Chojiro Nitta and others area who ran skin trade in an area starts a donation and manages to reach the opening of a school.
The existence neighboring elementary school started as a private school, but was transferred in Osaka-shi in 1922. I am reorganized in 1927 by an existence neighboring work school and will be run as a vocational school with the course that followed the elementary school.

In the case of the reorganization to the national elementary school, I abolish this about the school named with "a number of local excellent + foundation order" conventionally in Osaka-shi and start a policy to change to the school name which took in the place name all at once in total. It became the school name of Sakae, Toei with this.
In addition, the existence neighboring work school was reorganized in 1941 by the national elementary school, too and called myself a citizen of existence neighboring country school. The citizen of existence neighboring country school was renamed to the south Sakae (I get what and am) national elementary school in 1944. I am reorganized in June, 1945 to advanced course alone.
Evacuation of schoolchildren will be carried out about the national elementary school child of the big city including Osaka-shi after 1944 by war situation aggravation of the Pacific War. A thing, the relationship that should have been evacuation in the relationship are school units about the child whom I cannot evacuate to, and the evacuation method will carry out group evacuation. The prefectures of the evacuation was assigned to every each administrative section, and evacuation to Shiga was decided in the national elementary school of Naniwa-ku. As for the child of the Sakae national elementary school, the child of the Toei national elementary school evacuates to Sakamoto-mura, Shiga-gun (current Sakamoto, Otsu-shi district) and Ogoto-mura (current Ogoto, Otsu-shi district) again to Moriyamacho, Yasu-gun (current Moriyama-shi). On the other hand, about the south Sakae national elementary school, there had been many families where a lot of children of the poor could not pay an evacuation expense [2] to, and enforcement of the only group evacuation was seen off in Osaka-shi.
Naniwa-ku suffered big damage by Osaka University air raid of 1945. The school building of both Toei, south Sakae schools was reduced to ashes by the first Osaka University air raid of March 14, the following day from March 13, the same year. In addition, the area suffers big damage, too and integrates both schools in Toei, south Sakae with the Sakae national elementary school as closure of a school (I close it down formally) in postwar 1946.
I it after educational system reform
By educational system reform of 1947, it became the Osaka City Sakae elementary school. I move to 2, Kizugawa in 1975.
In approximately 46,700 square meters of current premises of a school at 2, Kizugawa, the building total floor area has area equivalent to 31,200 square meters and average Osaka City elementary school a little over four.
