Montague county (British: Montague County) is a county located in the northern part of United States of America Texas. It was 19,719 people, and the population in the 2010 national census increased from 19,117 people of 2000 by 3.1% [1]. County seat is [3], the county that are Montague who is a town of non-admission (approximately 400 population [2]), and a city of the population maximum is Bouilly city (a population of 5,218 people [4]). The county name was named a surveyor for Daniel Montague who acted as an officer by American-Mexican War.

On September 26, 2009, the history mark indicating the チザム trail (English version) was unveiled in the place of Red River station in the county. The concrete mark of 5.5 feet in height (1.7m) is the last thing of 12 marks which a Texas lakes and trail and a joint project of Montague county history Committee built in Montague county to leave チザム trail.

About the forest fire that had many parts of the county exhaustively on April 9, 2009, Governor Rick Perry exercised a disaster situation law in the Montague county [8]. The Governor Perry spoke that it was "the catastrophe" that I had not seen until now by the later interview [9].
