Summary

The Melo cure was suggested by plan precedence as a woman group of 2 unit at first by a director of Columbia. In Okazaki, the participation as the music producer was planned not a singer for the original design. Participation of the sun was decided, but Okazaki offered the participation as the oneself singer first because the already 1-member selection ran into difficulties. Therefore a design at the beginning of plan is changed, and Okazaki and a unit by the sun will be formed [¹].

The unit name abbreviated coined word "Melo Dick hardware cure" of the parody of "the Melo Dick hard core", and the meaning called "the drastic treatment that is melodia" is put. In addition, it is talked even if I wanted to start the feeling that is ambivalent in a meaning to want to enjoy Okazaki and the gap of the contradicting part of the sun [²]. In addition, this unit name was suggested by Hiuga [³].

Since organization of April, 2002, I start activity mainly on an animated cartoon theme song mainly.
