Chen (29552 Chern) is an asteroid located in the asteroid belt. I was discovered in a prosperity observation base on February 15, 1998 by Beijing astronomical observatory CCD asteroid observation program [1].
I was named for the Taiwanese American mathematician who was the geometrist who represented the 20th century, the Chen body-saving.
