Masao Chiba
Masao Chiba (Masao Chiba, July 31, 1869 (June 23, 1869) -1945 age (1945) July 19) is a clergyman of the Japanese association Christ church. Maiden name Wataze. Similarly, in true younger brothers of Tsunekichi Watase of the clergyman, it is a true older brother of Wataze Shuichiro.
I am born in Higo country Yatsushiro as the second son of 渡瀬勝礼 in (1869) in 1869. I learn Chinese classics with older brother Tsunekichi Watase. I become a disciple of the Oe school organized by contributions of Soho Tokutomi in (1885) in 1885. I did Catholicism extermination, but get reverted close to a missionary work meeting of Tokio Yokoi first.
I go to Tokyo with Tokutomi. I did an elementary school teacher in Komura of Gunma afterwards. I am baptized at Maebashi church. All the members were baptized to persuade the whole family with older brother Tsunekichi.
Because I participate in a political movement of Ashikitagun, Kumamoto by instructions of Soho Tokutomi and made a speech, an elementary school teacher is dismissed. I did a patrol teacher afterwards in Kumamoto.
I entered the section theology department according to Doshisha by the help of the propagator in 1890. After graduation, it was done 准允 by the cause of the clergyman Danjo Ebina by the missionary of the Kobe church. I successively held Tosa, the single ground, Tsuruoka, Tsukuda, Hyuga Island, a church of Miyazaki afterwards. I receive ordination in 1902 and become a clergyman.
I inherit a family name of the head family Chibas of the Watases in 1907 and change the family name in Chiba. I work by an introduction of Danjo Ebina in the mind instruction part-time service of Kitakyusyu Yawata ironworks, the personnel affairs consultation section. With an official dwelling as a church, I open worship and the Sunday school. I resign from Yawata ironworks in 1922.
After it, I am active as a clergyman of Tsukuda Island church, the Umamachi, Nagasaki church. I retire myself from the clergyman in 1938 and I emigrate to Kyoto and work on the care of the theologian and the help of the church. In later years, I emigrate to Miyazaki from 1941, and 3 年間牧会 does Obi church and die just before the end of the war in 1945.
