History
Suzuki Bank that 越 ヶ Tanicho (current Koshigaya-shi) at the time did not have the foundation room was open, but a report of establishment was submitted (1898) to the Ministry of Finance in about March in 1898 by Koshigaya savings bank and the bank of each public interest savings bank. When there is too many that authorize two savings banks in the town, the Ministry of Finance shows disapproval; to both banks of both banks annexed it, and the setting permission of the savings bank was granted in 越 ヶ Tanicho. A parent bank was Suzuki Bank virtually. And I established it for capital 30,000 yen by both banks combination. I put the foundation office in Suzuki Bank Head Office. The main figure of the end of December was capital 30,000 yen (beat payment 22,500 yen) financial reserve 1,320 yen, savings 43,095 yen, loan 1,185 yen (1903) for 1,903 years.
The depositors who were shocked by a report of the failure of the stocks speculation of Suzuki Bank (1907) in about February in 1907 rushed in the Koshigaya savings bank. I moved to prefecture Omiyacho, Kitaadachi-gun (current Omiya-ku, Saitama-shi, Saitama) (1911) on July 31 in 1911 and was renamed to Hikawa savings bank at the same time. I moved the head office to Omiya, and former head office of Koshigaya became the Koshigaya Branch. I followed and installed Hasuda Branch in the prefecture Minamisaitama-gun Hasuda-cho (current Hasuda-shi, Saitama) (1913) in November in 1913. They increased the capital to capital 200,000 yen (1917) in November in 1917, but, since a panic of World War I, the achievements became dull. I was reorganized (1921) on December 13 in 1921 by the ordinary bank, and the name became the Hikawa trading bank, too.
The later business conditions still changed as dullness and were at a loss for duties at last (1925) in January in 1925 and were forced to suspension of business from January 24, the same year. The depositors that Suzuki Bank of the parent bank was shocked by a report of the suspension of business rushed in the Koshigaya Branch. I was charged by a depositor during the suspension of business, but, in November of the year, it became the settlement out of court and reopened subject to deposit 40% refund on November 29. However, I was hit by a financial panic of (1927) in addition to the long-term bad times in 1927, and the business duties came to a deadlock, too, and it was dissolution (1929) on July 17 in 1929.
