Origin
WakayamaWakayama-shiA native place. I am scouted during Wakayama commercial high school attendance at school, and 日紡貝塚 of the business group joins the club.
The beginning of joining a club was an awkward type and the attack was strong, but spent an unfortunate period without being able to handle receiving and a toss. I say, "I cannot become a regular, and the bench warmer is enough", and it is said that I continued it for four years. I express my sentiment of the figure Manager Hirofumi Daimatsu who continued seeing it when convinced, "it becomes the thing by all means" [1]. A toss and receiving gradually improved and they did it in the fifth year and got a regular. As a member of the Oriental witch, I greatly contributed to championship by the world championship of 1962 and got the MVP and was called "a world's best attacker". Even the Tokyo Olympics of October, 1964 that lasted greatly contributed to gold medal acquisition.
In March, 1965 after the retirement, I married former Tokyo Olympics basketball reinforcement coach.
