Summary

It was approved in an assembly that this warship maintained one aircraft carrier in a navy plan in 1926 of the French navy. The maintenance of the seaplane of a patrol duty and the fleet as the aircraft carrier and the facilities as the work warship which I supplied were included in a design. It was a hangar of 84 meters in length X 27 meters in width and four catapults, aircraft carrier which lifted it, and had work facilities for the full-scale aviation equipment and repair including five cranes of 5-12 tons of ability on the hull. It was equipped with the 10cm 単装高角砲 12 gate and a lot of vs. empty firearms for self-defense use, and I put 50mm armor on the ship's side and the main deck, and the defense armor was the same level as a light cruiser before one generation, too.

The deployment machine was equipped with 12 ラテコエール 298 water air raiders and Loire new pole 130 small size flying boat 14 by water air raider and small flying boat mainly in the late 1930s.

Warship career

I construct it by a plan in 1926. I start work at Gironde shipyard in May, 1927. The 1932 completion.

The deployment machine became the coast base deployment at the time of World War II. I received a naval attack in the U.K. in メルセルケビール (Mers El Kébir) on July 3, 1940. I moved to Toulon, but the co-man Dan test sank itself afterwards when a French fleet sank itself in Toulon on November 27, 1942. In May, 1943, it was risen once by Italy, but attacks and sinks it in August, 1944.

It was risen after the war in 1946, and the remodeling to high-speed armed forces transportation warship or an exercise carrier was considered, but I was sold in 1950 after all and was dismantled in 1963.
