大冶鉄鉱
大冶鉄鉱 (with だいやてっこう, 大冶鉄山) is an iron mine in Chinese Hubei Huangshi City.
It was run by the Hanyang iron political situation installed under the sponsorship of terminal (the 1890s), Zhang Zhidong for the Qing dynasty. In Japan, the construction of Yawata ironworks was pushed forward, but the iron ore procurement from the Japan foreign territory was necessary in a hurry at that time because procurement of the iron ore from the Kamaishi mine of Iwate planned at first was below expectation, and what I remained in became clear. Therefore there was what was fixed on in the southern coast of the Yangtze River and was 大冶鉄山 where transportation of the iron ore to Japan was easy. The Hanyang iron political situation racked its brains about procurement of the coke necessary to make steel from iron ore of 大冶 and examined import of the coke which assumed coal from Japan raw materials. Therefore import was started from 1900 in the last year that a contract to supply (is equivalent for 120,000 years) for 50,000t at a price of 2.4 yen/t for 15 years was bound together, and Yawata ironworks operated the iron ore of dignity 60%, and to start it in 1899 as a result that both Japan and China discussed it. A Japanese side increased pressure taking advantage of the victory in the revolt of the Boxer and let you recognize the increase of the supply to Japan and the change to 30 years during the period in 1904 afterwards.
And Japan let Hanyang iron depot (ironworks), 大冶鉄鉱 (iron ore), Pingxiang coal mine (coal) merge in exchange for a large amount of loan in 1908 and started the setting of the big base of the iron manufacture to be able to perform a product by consistency management from raw materials in the Yangtze River basin whole area from to Hubei, Jiangxi. This was 漢冶萍公司 (漢冶萍煤鉄鉱廠有限公司). I updated the deadline for contract for a loan and exchange afterward, and it was in one of the important stage of the anti-sinter 21 demand more (the third). During this time, the iron ore supply to Japan increased rapidly and reached 680,000t a year in 1924.
But I enter the Showa period, and the production gradually follows a drop line by a management crisis of 漢冶萍公司. In October, 1938, the Japanese military occupied 大冶鉄鉱 and gave iron manufacture in Japan this. I recorded production of 1,450,000t a year in 1942, but it became difficult to transport this to Japan with the numerical inferiority of the Japanese military and came back to the Chinese hand by defeat in 1945 of Japan again.
