立達磨
立達磨 (stand a Dharma doll) is a Dharma doll image in Hida-shi, Gifu (former Kamiokacho, Yoshiki-gun). 立達磨 is a figure risen of Bodhidharma (generally Dharma has many figures which sat in contemplation). By this article, I speak the Japan's biggest 立達磨 in Okuno-in Temple of 曹洞宗補陀山洞雲寺.
Characteristic
- Copper 立達磨像 of approximately 9m in height. Copper approximately 8t that I used uses copper ore produced by MITSUI MINING & SMELTING Kamioka Mine.
- I erect it (1973) on June 3 in 1973.
