- Gogochi-mura, Atamadai-mura, Kubo village, Izumi-mura, Kaizuka village merge and start with April 1 - municipality organization enforcement (1889) for 1,889 years.
- - Yoshifumi village merges with Omigawa-cho (1955) on February 11 in 1955 and founds Omigawa-cho some other time. The same day Yoshifumi village abolition.
- - Omigawa-cho merges (2006) with Sawara-shi, Yamada-machi, Kurimotomachi on March 27 in 2006 and founds Katori-shi. The same day Omigawa-cho abolition
